Abstract:
This study's objectives are to (1) investigate how strategic alliances contribute to competitive advantage, (2) identify the types of strategic alliances that are most effective, and (3) assess the long-term benefits of strategic alliances on business growth. A survey design was chosen to facilitate the collection of data from a diverse group of respondents. A sample size of 380 was determined using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure the results are statistically significant. The research focused on technology firms in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, due to their frequent engagement in strategic alliances. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.87. The study found that strategic alliances significantly enhance competitive advantage by providing access to new markets, technologies, and resources. It is recommended that businesses actively pursue strategic alliances and invest in partnership management to maximize the benefits of these collaborations.
